Purposes of Fundraising
The money raised from this website through PayPal and by any other method will go to the People’s Council Café bank account at Bank Hapoalim in Israel and will be used solely for establishing the People's Council Café. The process is supervised by a lawyer and an accountant, in cooperation with the Israeli tax authorities.
The investment plan of the People's Council Café is subject to change without prior notice.
Since the unusual fundraising project is an integral part of the People's Council Café, the money will also be allocated to the benefit of the fundraising project itself as long as it lasts.
Duration
As soon as we reach the amount of $500,000, the People’s Council Café will be on its way. We will find a suitable location, rent and renovate it, plan the menu and open the café.
If we fail to raise the sum of $500,000 within 24 months, the café will not open and the money raised (after covering expenses) will be donated equally to:
- The Association for the wellbeing of Israel's Soldiers
- ELI – Israel Association for Child Protection
- The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel
* These organizations have no organizational, personal or other affiliation with the People's Council.
We maintain the right to stop fundraising at any time and for any reason without prior notice. If such case occurs, the money raised (after covering expenses) will be donated as aforementioned.
We also maintain the right to extend the fundraising period beyond the 24 months for any reason without prior notice.
Naming Items
To avoid abuse or inappropriateness, any name you give an item that you purchase will be subject to our approval.
Commercial names or any forms of advertising will be prohibited.
For obvious reasons, no derogatory names or displays of disrespect will be accepted.
By naming an item, you agree that the person after whom the item was named has approved the use of his/her name and any other details used on items at the real Café once it is established, and that you and only you are responsible for said use of name and details.
